ความเชื่อมั่น [Faith]

-- ตอนที่หิมะตก ได้มีโอกาสเห็นดอกไม้สีแดงปกคลุมไปด้วยหิมะ ก็คิดๆอยู่ว่ามันคงอยู่ได้อีกไม่นานเหมือนดอกไม้ชนิดอื่นๆ เพราะหนาวซะขนาดนั้น... เวลาผ่านไปหลายสัปดาห์มีทั้งฝนตกแดดออก พอกลับมาดูอีกที ดอกไม้สีแดงนี้ยังคงสวยงามและบานสะพรั่งเหมือนเดิม!!! ก็แปลกใจเหมือนกันว่าทำไมถึงอดทนขนาดนี้? ทั้งฝนตก, แดดออก, หิมะตก ทุกสภาพอากาศ ไม่เป็นอะไรเลย แถมกลับสวยงามกว่าเดิม...

ก็คิดเหมือนกันว่า "แล้วเราละ มีความอดทนขนาดนี้ไหม? ทนได้ทุกสถานการณ์หรือเปล่า? ถ้าเจอกับความทุกข์, ความสุข, ความเจ็บปวด, ความเศร้าเสียใจ, การสูญเสีย, ความเหนื่อย และท้อแท้... เราจะผ่านไปได้ไหม?" บอกตรงๆนะ ก็คงไม่ไหวเหมือนกัน

ความอดทนหรือความอึดนั้นมันต้องผ่านการฝึกฝน มีประสบการณ์เยอะ แต่เราคิดว่ามันยังมีปัจจัยที่สำคัญอยู่สิ่งหนึ่ง นั้นก็คือความเชื่อ เชื่อที่ว่ามีคนคนหนึ่งที่คอยช่วยเหลือให้ผ่านทุกสถานการณ์ไปได้ เชื่อว่าคนคนนั้น[GOD] จะไม่ทอดทิ้งเราในเวลาดีหรือร้าย ถึงแม้ว่าเรามองไม่เห็นก็ตามแต่ก็ยังเชื่ออยู่ ความเชื่อนี้คือรากฐานของความอึด

When the snow falls, I saw the red flowers covered with snow. I thought that it would not last long because it's so cold... After a few weeks, I came back to see the flowers again. And you know, these red flowers were still beautiful and blossoms just the same as before! I was surprised! How come?!? How it could endure! The rain, the sun, the snow, all-weather, but still remain the same...

I too reflected on this, and asked myself, "Do I have such patience? If I meet with suffering, joy, pain, sadness, loss, exhaustion and discouragement... can I overcome it? can I endure? Honestly, I also cannot.

Endurance or tolerance requires a lot of patience and experiences. But I think there are other important source and factors as well. And that is "FAITH". In believing that there is ONE person who can help us through every situation. In believing that this Person will never leave us alone. Although we could not see. But we still believe, this is FAITH, the foundation of Endurance.
